Function

Key responsibilities

The Firm's practice is carried by its administration: files that can be found, invoices that are correct, meetings that are prepared for and records that stand up to scrutiny.

Managing daily office operations, maintaining an organised and efficient working environment, and keeping the Firm's supplies, logistics and day-to-day systems in order so that practice work is never held up by administration.

Preparing invoices, maintaining financial records and tracking the costs associated with the Firm's work, so that every engagement remains accurately documented from instruction through to conclusion.

Organising meetings, making the necessary arrangements and coordinating post-meeting administrative activities, including the follow-up and documentation of what was agreed.

Maintaining and updating files, documents and administrative records, ensuring that client and Firm records are complete, retrievable and appropriately kept.

Preparing tax and pension schedules to support the Firm's compliance and reporting obligations, and ensuring statutory documentation is accurate and ready when required.

Providing operational support to the Firm's lawyers and management, facilitating efficient service delivery and continuity across active matters.

Standards & Approach

Elizabeth's work is defined by reliability rather than visibility. Files are kept so that a matter can be reconstructed at any point, invoices are prepared accurately and issued on time, and meetings are arranged with the documentation and follow-up they require.

She handles client and Firm records with strict confidentiality, and treats accuracy in financial documentation as a professional obligation rather than an administrative formality. Costs are tracked as they arise, so that the Firm's reporting position is never assembled after the fact.

Good administration is invisible when it works: the file is where it should be, the invoice is correct and the deadline has been met.

Formation

Education & training

Elizabeth holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) with Upper Credit from Kaduna Polytechnic, awarded on 10 January 2018. Her professional training is supported by a Diploma in Computer Training, obtained on 26 November 2003, which grounds her handling of digital records, documentation and office systems.

She plays an important role in supporting the Firm's administrative efficiency, financial organisation and day-to-day operations, allowing the legal team to give its full attention to client work.
